MKR-IC design center was founded in 1992 in Istanbul to provide ASIC solutions mainly to local but generally worldwide electronics industry. In 2004, the design center was acquired by Mikroelektronik Araştırma Geliştirme Tasarım ve Ticaret Ltd.
The area of design expertise covers both digital and analog realms but mainly focused on high speed IC design.
